Default help identify wires in engine bay (95WRX)

Hi All,
can someone check please.... behind driverside headlight

There are 3 wires I can't identify after repairs to front of my '95 WRX. These branch out of the loom behind the drivers headlight. 2 are paired 2together blue and black. The 3rd is a single (much lighter gauge) red wire, anybody know what these wires are for.
They branch from the loom at the same node as the headlight, parks etc.... less than 1foot long
I have dip/main/indicator/parks/fogs all working fine on both sides.

cheers..

Just had a look at my sti, i have a blue and black on a green block which go to the intercooler water spray, don't think yours has that though, i can't see a red wire. Hope this helps.

If everything is working fine, don't worry. There are numerous "extra" connectors on wiring looms that are there for every conceivable optional extra.

I was guessing that the blue and black were perhaps for water spray (which isn't on this car). The lighter red wire though, I'm not sure about.

I have remote central locking that works (well it's suppose to) off IR, thought this red wire may have been connected to this circuit somehow.

My IR receiver is mounted on the dashboard (on the demist outlet panel for the winscreen).Took a while to cop this, coz it its flat and black and looks like a plastic grommet.

The grommet on the dash is usually the sunlight sensor for the climate control.
The IR sensor is where the reading lights are near the rear view mirror.

Are you sure the extra wire isnt non genuine?

The only other part fitted behind the head right headlight is IC water spray.
Perhaps all three are for this system ie 2 for power,1 for level sensor.
Just a guess.

Aha, climate control... ok so nothing to do with remote c/l.

The red wire branches off the original loom, and looks genuine.

I have a NA scoob I bought for spares (inner wing, front panel etc..) the beam adjustment connector is in this loom (both sides have a connector), but my WRX has nothing like this.

AFAIK, the remote c/l is the only thing that's not working, electrically.

I had a winscreen changed after body repairs .. maybe the receiver ( thought I'd found it, guess not) was damaged. where else would this receiver be?
Keyfob has 3 buttons and emmits red light, so IR right?
