Rear seat in 2001 GX pulled away. How to replace?

Rear seat in 2001 GX pulled away. How to replace?
looked in the back of our gx and the seat has been pulled away. it seems go onto some u shape holding pieces which a small bar bedded in the seats foam sets into. cant budge the seat to go up and drop onto holding pieces 
any ideas?
