theres no need, ive seen a few posts similer to this, and you probably have as well?

from what i have worked out, you pay him and he posts them about 2/3 weeks after the funds have cleared, and this is a perfectly decent thing to do "because hes a honest chap"

not sure the reasons why or such, but IMO, you pay for summit, it should be sent out asap, not after a few weeks worth of messing about. try a search mate.

Looks like this is happening to often. I sent Scoty/windows/dark-evo £285 for some injectors, over 6 weeks ago I have been told that the delay is down to him waiting for adapters to be made. Fair enough, but 6 weeks????!!!!!????

I sent him an e-mail on friday and haven't heared anything back, although he may be away for the Easter weekend.

Scoty: Can you read my e-mail and get back to me. This is going on for far to long now mate. I'm beginning to lose patience.

A break! It's a month since he first said he was going to "post the lights today",and he confirmed he'd received the money on March 7th. If I hadn't received the clear indicators from the group buy last week (still waiting for the repeaters), I'd have taken action to recover my money already.
I'm willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this is taking the p!ss.

Martin.

p.s. Scoty, If you'd replied to either of the 2 PM's I sent this week, I wouldn't have posted this.

There were a few threads a couple of weeks back about Scoty, and he replied answering all questions.
At the time i was also awaiting parts, Scoty mailed me, gave me a delivery date, and the goods turned up on time as promised.

Scotys helped me a great deal in the past few weeks, so maybe i`m biased, but give him a chance to reply.

Cheers
Johnny

To be fair Scott has answered my e-mails quickly, except for the one I sent on Friday, I'm still waiting for a reply on that one. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's away for the Easter break.

But, as I've said, my patience is beginning to wear thin after 6 weeks.

Sorry buddy, will get the AVC-R out tomorrow.

Martin, I sent you a tracking number for your rear lights last week, if you havent received them yet, then you should contact Royal Mail rather than post on here.
The side repeaters have not arrived for the group buy yet, I've sent you numerous e-mails to keep you informed of the progress on them, but your e-mails are all bouncing back as undeliverable, I also put a note in with your crystal clear side lights from the group buy to inform you of this.
I havent picked up any private messages as I havent been online for a few days.
I'll get through all the e-mails today.

Oatcake, same as above mate, I have also sent you a tracking number for your lights last week.

Drexel, you know the reason why I havent sent you the injectors mate, as soon as I receive the adaptors I will send them out.
I am only going by what I am being told, I am not taking the **** and neither is the supplier of the adaptors.

from what i have worked out, you pay him and he posts them about 2/3 weeks after the funds have cleared, and this is a perfectly decent thing to do "because hes a honest chap"
Stickymicky, keep working on it mate.
There is a lot of "posting" you dont see on Scoobynet, and that is me making sure people "are" getting there parts next day.
All you are seeing are the post's where unfortunately some lads have been waiting on parts, some longer than others, what you are not seeing is the lads who have received their parts within a couple of days, and I can assure you most people do receive any parts they have bought from me within a couple of days.

Fair enough Scott, if the adapters aren't ready, they aren't ready. It's just that 6 weeks seems a bit excessive that's all. I cant understand why it's taking so long to make the adapters.

I got an item off Scott a few weeks back, I had to wait and mailed him with harsh words, he didn't reply for a couple of days but when he did all became clear. The item came when he said it would and he also emailed me the tracking number as soon as he had posted it. Hes a decent guy he just does stuff at his own pace(which for the record means waiting for a decent amount of stuff to post in one go rather than many trips to the Royal Mail depot, for that I don't blame him)

Chromes a top geezer and so is Windows.

Windows,

Sorry if there has been a misunderstanding, wasn't aware that you sell multiply items. When I paid you for the rear STi lights I thought that it was the only item that you were selling. Can understand if you wait until you have a few items to post before you go to the post office. Maybe a little bit more communication would have helped.

It's amazing how a little thread which threatens suppliers with bad publicity is enough to get them to get their fingers out their behinds.

What makes it even funnier though is all the praise you guys give, now you've got all the bits you'd been moaning about!!

No lessons for the future learned then... lol

lol

These type of threads dont bother me at all don't take the mic, as long as they are kept factual.
The danger is when people who are not waiting for parts read the post's, and comment on what they think; with totally inacurate information. (not a go at you BTW)
I am not a supplier, I dont own a company, but having owned an Impreza for over 4 years now, I have bought a trumendous amount of parts, there is not much that hasn't been on the car at one point.
I dont like to keep parts i'm not using either, the majority of the parts I have sold have been from my car or were for my car.
Some parts I have sourced specifically for someone though, but I still dont consider myself as a supplier, 4 years of buying parts and you build up a good inventory of contacts and suppliers.

Another thing is I'm harldey ever in this forum, best thing to do is send me an e-mail and wait for a reply, I will and always have replied to every e-mail I received which needs a reply.

Scoty
