Hi all
Bit of a spanner question.
Does a 1993 wrx import have an up pipe?
The only thing is that im getting a down pipe soon and already have a decat centre and ninja back box and wondered if it was worth changing the up pipe at the same time, if its got one!!?
Will it make much of a difference (noticable bhp/noise) or should i spend the £200 the Doreen has given me on something else?

Please advise a lost soul!

Yes it has an up pipe, There's not much of a gain changing them on classics as there's no cat in it, Its just a piece of straight pipe. The later ones have a cat in which is why they are changed.

Nah, spend it on something else.
I changed mine, but only cos i changed the headers & turbo at the same time, otherwise, i wouldn`t have bothered.

Think i will put it towards the defi stuff and have to extract another £100 from my private carpet fitting work without the Doreen spotting!
