when ever i see a scoob i always try and wave or acknowledge them, but they never wave back
is it because i drive a forester and not the typical impreza?

dont worry about it, ive got an sti8 and hardly any body waves or flashes their lights i wave or flash at any subaru and it is mostly the less sporty ones that wave nearly all the wrxs and stis just sail past with me holding my hand up saying to my wife that they probably didnt see me, like you can miss an sti bearing down on you
I always wave (much to the annoyance of Corradogirl
). Well, I do if I can get my finger out of my nose quick enough
Just waved to a silver STi8 this morning in Bramley, Leeds. And he waved back too!

Only had mine a week, and had three or so Scoobys wave at me with me waving back. Reminds me of years ago when I was into Beetles, and more recently on bikes - always nod or wave. Why not?
I always wave when I realise it's a Scoob I'm looking at - trouble is I usually get a look in return thats says either:
a) "You are too young to be driving a Scooby therefore I refuse to acknowledge you"
b) "I thought I was the only Scooby driver in this area, you've made me feel less special, therefore I refuse to acknowledge you"
Thats why it was nice to attend a ScoobyNet meet (rolling road day at Engine Advantages - Whittam) and find out that at least SN scooby drivers are generally nice blokes/ladies

I was flashed by another scooby on my first ever test-drive of my first-ever impreza. Made me feel quite good and that I was joining a community. I tried to flash back but being used to Peugeots I just set the windscreen wipers off instead...d'oh. Think the other guy saw the funny side though, he was grinning as he passed me...

Please tell me you are joking?

Lol! What makes you think I don't wave? Just
at the people who take it personally when it doesn't happen to them.
Like I said before, it's not like waving is part of the Subaru sales contract, there are loads of Scooby drivers out there who simply don't realise it's the "done thing". No big deal, and certainly no need to get all steamed up about it!

I wave to the Kent lot when I drive through thier county, but they dont wave back, I'm not sure, but it might be because I'm driving the company's pick up, and not my WRX!!

I always flash my lights and wave at other Scooby Drivers!!
.....the only exception is when cornering quickly whilst changing gear (I have a healthy fear of death)!!
Most wave/flash back!!
...............................apparently drivers who wear baseball caps find it hard to communicate!! (If you know what I mean?!)
