Ripped by a Skoda ....... ??????!!!!!!!
Have Skoda started offering Nitrous as an optional extra now or am i not worthy of owning a Scoob anymore .... ??!!
Just been for a quick blast in me Bugly and while doing 125mph (said 70mph on the speedo officer
!) some geezer in a Black Skoda Octavia (wiv blacked out windows) came past me like i was standing still ........ !!

Somone on here was getting rid of a Scooby to start a Skoda project I think I remeber seeing. We have several unmarked silver Skoda police cars in our region. I wonder if that was a cop trying to humiliate you into going slower?

going down the M4 on sunday doing about a ton in the outside lane when from nowhere comes up a seat cupra up my ****, do a double take when I see the blue flashing lights in the grill so I moved over and looked across.... two coppers looked at me then sped off

Probably was the RS, my boyfriends got one (estate version) thats just standard and it does 100 in third gear easy. Police round barrow in the lakes have just started putting them into circulation as unmarked.

As ive stated in ealier posts the VAG 1.8T 20V motor is well tunable (and for not alot of money) LEON typeR 260BHP from £600 at AmD. with mid range power to embarass most cars....
The Ibiza’s with IHI turbos hit 100 in 10.5 secs.

the VAG 1.8T is extremely tunable, and it kicks out large dollops of tourqe in tuned form as well. A friend's Leon R was RR'd at dubsport on sunday and with just a re-map (from REVO) it gave 260 BHP and 324lb/ft of tourque!

The power delivery is different, the engine note isn't there, but they really do deliver.

Now now ladies - i've not managed to blow my Skoda engine in 30k miles.
And before you start I do know how to drive - my point of comparison is my old STI-V TypeR which I got new... and the engine let go after only 5k!!

It's go VW reliability built in - so I'll see it on the hard shoulder then.

Soz m8 but I do believe it.
OK, close on the fast lane of the M3 (and I have thought "what the ***** that?" to a black vRS before) but not on the A339 from Newbury to Alton. Honest. Even if you are chipped up to 240.

I got pulled by a Silver unmarked one a year ago, after a 20 minute chase (him trying to keep up
) they turned on the blue lights
To be fair, they were very good about it.
Even though I was over a tonne on a dual carriageway, they had only just got the car and had no speed timing gear fitted!
Got a producer
On close inspection, there was no way you could tell it was a rozzer mobile.
