saw this the other day...
Would be a fun track-day car..
I've seen a MK1 Golf with a 20v (non turbo) TT engine wiping the board at combe..
(1 min 18's) so this should be quick!

Isnt there a connection between this car and someone from Scoobynet? Perhaps the mechanicals came from their car; Ive seen this picture before; on here...
