Default Tracstar Tracker

My 03 Sti got dragged away on Saturday, again battery flat. Dealer called yesterday to advise that Tracker was not going into sleep mode. Apparently it is constantly looking for GPS signal, which is hard to find in my garage. Perhaps the finger should be pointed at Trackstar for supplying unreliable equipment to Subaru? Its ironic that the system endorsed by Subaru, required by the insurance companies, paid for by a subscription service is the one thing that drains the battery and makes the car vulnerable to undetected theft..………...all beit with a breakdown truck.
