bonnet scoop

bonnet scoop
i have a MY93 and when doing 80ish i can see the bonnet sccop really moving up and down. really worried it will blow off. has anyone else noticed this?

Lol, if you think that's bad, you should try an MY03 or MY04 STi!
Have a good look around it to make sure there's no cracking on the scoop itself, or rust around the mounts on the bonnet, but provided it's not getting noticeably worse you won't have anything to worry about.

Dont worry about it. Its the bonnet flexing and as its an aluminium one( i hope!!) it doesnt have the rigidness of a steel one.
But if all of a sudden the entire bonnet rips off and lands on the roof of the 5 gt turbo trying to keep up with you over 1 mile behind, atleast youl have a positive cold air flow for your i/c and induction kit!!
