Default CD changer

Just bought a 94 UK wagon, which still has the standard Subaru stereo, which has CD changer control. What are the chances of getting a CD changer that will be compatible? Would it just be easier to use the head unit and changer from my old car?

Also, where is the best place to mount the changer?

Ta!

Yep, i think the head unit is a phillips. Is there any chance that the cable will already be in place, or am i being hopelessly optimistic??
