As the wrx wagon is only 220 vs 240-260bhp for the saloon - can a wagon be have its ecu tweeked to run the same power?
How does a wagon compare to a saloon anyway if it is 20-40 bhp down? i.e 0-60, handling etc?

 

 

If you mean classic WRX. Wagons go from 220to 250 depending on model year.
Saloons go from 240 to 280.
Think an sti wagon is 280 though.

 

Classic wagons, 215 bhp to 260 bhp depending on model and Jap/ UK spec. Cars 215 bhp to 280 for STi models. The wagon is a very practical vehicle, especially if you have loads of gear to move around or a dog etc. no reason you cannot tune it just like the car.

My MY02 Wagon Import is 250PS as standard, compared to 225PS for the UK WRX.

 

Yup i agree Wagons Rule... my sti wagon is running at 300+bhp and loving every min of it.
