OOOOOhhhhh no what have i done...
Had to do it... was doing too many Mway miles in the scoob...@ 28 mpg
I work all over the place so was using the scoob, i'm sure many of us are in this position...! Worked out that i would be £130 a month better of in a Clio doig 60mpg wich pays for its-self... just blown 8k on a 1-1/2 year old 15DCi
and this was earmarked for the T25 I'm so gutted...
Now its going to have to wait... for about a year... the STi's got 25k on it in 10 months 80% m-way @ 75 mph and I just thought I may as well be in a diesel...
Had a test drive in the dci and it was reading 78mpg on the m-way over twenty miles... really quiet and smooth too... if i pushed the scoob of a cliff it wouln't do that... So now i will make back £130 pm more than it costs me... and have to save again for the T25...
will be end of next year but thats the target... I had the $$$ in the bank too...
Anyhow I can then treat my luvly scoob as a toy..heheeee....
Chin up.... I've dropped the kid at the inlaws tonight and blatted it down the back roads and its still mega quick...
Dazza
now downing G-& T to make me feel better!
or and the Miss-use is preggers and wants a £600 pram...
With Fooooking disk brakes... what's all that about... its 12 years since we had a pram and disk brakes defo were not an option!

I run a 188,000 mile M reg Nissan Primera diesel and I get the same mileage out of £20 diesel as I get out of £40 in my WRX, and I get 225 miles for £30 in my WRX with mixed running.
The saving on fuel (as I do high miles) if I do 10,000 miles a year in the Primera pays for the road tax and insurance for it easily!!!
Brian.
Oh yeah, and the car cost me buttons.
