Smile boost!

have resently aqquired 95 (260) impreza wrx,it has defi gauges in it which we have just wired up. upon testing the car we realised that it is peaking at 1.3 bar boost, this is not standard surely! what should it be running! is this safe as we are not sure what has been done to the car/engine!.cheers.

Default

Does sound a bit high, a standard UK scooby boosts to around 0.9 bar. Your WRX will be a bit more than that I would guess. I'm sure someone will come along with the exact boost target.

Any modifications, e.g. boost controllers etc. ?
