low fuel pick up
hi,
coming off a mini-roundabout in 2nd, foot flat down, hit 5000 and suddenly - massive jerk and car just stopped dead! But then it picked up again and carried on as normal. Fuel guage was nearly on E and stopping at the Optimax pump down to road I got 53litres on. So I can only assume that with little fuel on board it all got tipped to the wrong end of the tank - is this normal? First time Ive ran it down that low on juice, should I expect this?
Cheers
MY04 WRX btw!

Not a good plan to run the car down to the fumes , as you tend to pick up all of the cr*p from the bottom of the tank and swill it down into the filters etc , not that there will be much junk in the tank of your MY04 yet ! but worth keeping in mind to save hasstle in the future
