I own a 1998 uk 5dr turbo impreza the only mods I have done to the car are a scorpian exhaust system K&N filter and a dump valve I took the car to Edzell air base on sunday where crail race way was holding a 1/4 mile thrash I only managed 3 runs at the end of my 3rd run when selecting 4th gear the gearstick pulled back but the car stayed in 3rd gear but my times were 13.982s 14.288s & 14.998s track conditions were damp and cause the car broke down I never got a chance to drag race or see any other scooby times so does any 1 know if my times are good and any ideas what could be wrong with my gear box

i ran a 13.4 in my old 4dr my98 uk turbo at santa pod, slowest was 14.2 i think

had full decat, blitz induction & dawes set to 1 bar

was pretty good time, but eventually cost me a new clutch though

I ran a 14.2 in wet with my standard sti and 13.9 at crail in dry. I was taking off at about 2 to 3k revs to conserve clutch.
