Couldnt believe my eyes yesterday whilst driving on the M4 near Slough when I saw a Subaru WRX Police car in full Police graphics and lights!!!

Anyone else seen this before?

Merseyside Police refuse to buy them as they look 'too aggressive'...so we used the Ford crocus and get p1ssed all over by the joyriders...ahh, deep joy

Surrey or Hampshire police have (or did last year at least) a green classic unmarked car. Saw it at an accident with it's "hidden" blue lights on. Don't race green subarus on the M3!

Quite a few up near me, going out towards Settle and Kendal, to catch all the mad bikers.

They did have 1 x full livery classic and 2 x undercover classics. Not sure if they have the newer models now.

Haven't seen that but I know they have an unmarked green scooby in the same area. Spotted after it had pulled over a young whipper-snapper in a nova tehehehe

Ive seen Evo's but not scoobies! Bet they fight over who gets the keys

Notts police used to have 2 liveried classics, and a red unmarked.

Apparently they don't fight over the keys when the novelty wears off, as a nice big T5 is much more comfy if you're sat in there for 8 hours!

There are a couple of emergency doctors (one in Hampshire) who have liveried WRXs and there was one in a trailer or the opening credits for Eastenders (the credits being about all I can take!) a while back.

The green classic in Hampshire has claimed a few notable scalps, my old fire brigade driving instructor amongst them!!

Wiltshire also have an unmarked Accord Type R.

Was pulled over in Sutton by an unmarked car yesterday, turns out that they routinely run the plates of subarus and evos they see due to their use as getaway cars etc. Because I was a long way from home I flagged as suspicious. Very polite, didn't mess me about and apologised and waved me off once they'd asked me where I lived etc. Nice one, good to see something proactive being done about car crime

Not anymore. Its been retired. They have a couple of Skoda Octavia RS (one black, one silver) and a couple of Vauxhall Omegas (Blue and Silver)

I have seen an EVO and a scooby police car here in N. Ireland. Still didn't catch the stolen M5 going sideways the wrong way round the roundabout. Burst the wheels up the road and the owner got the car back.

North Yorks police have two. One marked and one unmarked. I only know this because i got pulled over on the Great North Road a couple of weeks ago by a copper.

Greater Mancheseter have 3 last time I counted, all WRX bug eye, one blue one green and one red.

Before that they had Honda Accord R's then before that they had the mighty Sierra Cosworth.

The current flavour of the month is a Golf R32...

Saw one at Stow on the Wold the other month, all marked up on silver. The missis got excited when we pulled alongside it at lights but only got suspicious glances back :-)

we've got 2 unmarked ones in mcr. the unit is expanding so we can expect a few more along with r32's and s4's.. lucky us. !
