WR1 Hooting round roundabouts in Warwickshire
I work in Warwick overlooking the A46, last week heard the familiar sound of the flat four Impreza engine at full chat, hurling round a roundabout onto A46. Quick look outside and it was a WR1.
Has anyone had delivery of one yet or was this Prodrive "warming up" the tyres for these very impressive Performance Figures?
He really was pushing it to the limit, sounded awsome!

The affliction has been with me all along...
Talking about the accel figures for a sec, as I recall nobody could match the last ones we published, I did that lot, figures were averaged from 5 runs, gas tank was topped off between runs, two in car and I weigh 103kg's!!
They are totaly repeatable as long as you do it properly...
"Spotted" laughing, it was inevitable...

Laughing @ lardy... cheeky bugger
Actually I used the same car, engine, clutch, transmission, etc, etc for the whole of that PPP development and the car was still fine at the end of it, it's testimony to the strength of the 6MT. The new WR1 PPP has also been completed on one vehicle, no breakages, no clutch replacement.

I tend not to go to Tesco's in the Scooby, too many Muppets who open their door into the side of your car...
Getting the figures is surprisingly easy to be honest, just find a nice piece of tarmac, get some heat into the rubber, steady the revs and go...

Tho' it appears that some measure of retrofit ought to be possible, Dave, Prodrive aren't saying. Frustrating, but quite understandable. It wouldn't suprise me if they could not make a commercial return on the necessary development and testing, even if it was an ECU & Map job only.

Hi Simon & Nick,
I seem to remember someone trashing my MY02STiPP at Warwick December 02 Nick were you holding the computer ? Mike had me strapped in the Prodrivelive car passenger seat, not the back seat LOL and gave me a little pootle around the rally section
So if the STi02PPP is 2 STi03PPP is 3 STi04PPP is 21/2 how many is the WR1 worth ?
Tony
