Question 1/4 Mile Time for an STI7

Going down the pod in a few weeks. Has anyone idea what sort of time I should be getting out of an STI7? Only mods are a centre decat and backbox. Cheers.

I think the PPP car made it down a 1/4 in 13.9 and at 100mph, slightly less for a standard car.

Cheers, at least I have a rough idea of what to aim for. I'll post times on here when I've been for anyone interested. Thanks.

That cant be right surely. A standard classic uk Turbo will do it in 14.2, I even still have the slip to prove it

Wink

My MY99 Turbo 2000 with full decat and dawes device running 1.1bar did it in 13.713, im quite proud of that actually, not so far off some other guys running that day with some big power!

Varies depending on driver/launch and which strip you're at. I've heard of fairly standard STi7s allegedly getting under 13.5, and others who can't do 14 secs.

Depends a lot on how long you want your gearbox to last afterwards.
