Thumbs up Just picked up my...............

51"" plate WRX 4-door with 20,000 on the clock.

I`ve ran a Clio 172 for the last 15 mths and befor that I had a Evo VI TME for about 18 mths (then my business went **** up and the Evo had to go ). I spent about £5K on mods for it also!! .

I really am pleased with the new car and love the flat 4 sound . The handling is so crisp and I get the feeling its going to be an easy car to drive quickly. There is only a certain speed you can achive without getting seriously nicked and this car is going to be a lot easier to drive than the Evo at pace.

Now where do I start the mods then?, staraight through exhaust and induction kit by any chance? and which one?.

Ta.

Enjoy it while u can.

On the subject on Mods for your WRX an Induction kit and exhaust.

most of the people don't bother with changing the standard air box as impreza engines get hot, and the induction kit would not only be sucking in cold air, but also hot air. this is pointless. you can just change the 'panel filter' for a better one. look at www.scoobyworld.co.uk

now on the subject of exhaust if u want loud the the Blitz Nur Spec R is the loudest by far and looks good or something a bit tamer, the Scoobyworld afterburner Vortex would probably be the rite one for u and your needs, whatever they are!

have fun

Thanks for the advice fella, I had the Evo`s battery re-located so that could get more of the cold air in but will go with the panel filter if thats what you guys recomend. As for the exhaust I had a HKS Supper Dragger with titainium tip but was going to go for theNUR Spec R. I wonder which is the loudest??.

I used to be able to drive slowly past rows of park cars, boot it and set the alarms off. .

Martin,
Welcome on the subject of the filter, I've heard good things about the STi panel element and it just so happens theres a group buy on these a couple of threads down.
