mine comes of the oe dump vaule (the small pipe) not sure how correct this is
However, on some models there is a blanked off connection on the inlet manifold that you can connect directly to (without the T), I'd look here first.

i could really do with a photo too, im struggling with the same easy task.
i have seen a photo of a classic, but the pipe config of my car is different it seems.

Ok, I've done a search for ya and This thread may help
In the top picture the hose coming off the dump valve is hilighted with the red arrow. The inlet manifold is the big alloy spider shaped shaped thing that covers pretty much the whole of the top of the engine. It's worth look for a blanked off connection here first.
