Subaru to fit Spy Box!
Sorry if this has already been posted but I've just read something interesting in this weeks Auto Express.
Subaru are going to fit a Black Box that will record any modification made to the car. According to the spokesman it will able to detect so called invisible add on ECU's as well as exhuast and induction modifications.
Continuing the spokesman said people are modifying Impreza's and then removing the modifications to make warranty claims against Subaru.
He also saw it as protecting the used car buyer as any car could be checked to see if it had been modified at anytime during it's life.
Subaru expect to have the system installed within two years.
