It's almost irrelevant that you are asking about the WR1. All STi's need the best fuel they can get and the WR1 probably slightly more so. I'd state 97RON with Octane Booster or Optimax (98RON).

If you bear in mind that "standard" Super/98RON on the continent isn't quite good enough for full performance from the STi then UK 97RON certainaly won't be!!

i wouldnt put anything other than optimax in my new MY04 sti, just got a bottle of booster to leave in the boot just in case
