Shoddy Standards!
just took delivery of an MY04 STI8 and was a bit upset to find the following faults already.
1. Fuel guage is broken. Only ever reads half full, hardly moves from half regardless of how much fuel in tank - Was originally reading nearly empty when I took delivery and on first fill-up noticed the problem
2. Speedo needle is a brighter red than that other red needes on dash....this may sound silly, but when you spend £24K on a car then then you want it to be perfect
3. Dealer fitted the optional boost gauge and it has a white backlight when the rest of the dash has green....looks a bit crass. Especially, as I had the same mod done to my MY01 WRX and it was all a nice pretty green colour
