HELP ....... warning light
I had just filled my MY04 Sti with only 490 miles on the clock up with some optimax, jumped in, started her up & the fuel indicator light was on & the level was at the bottom, also there was a light on the "OBD warning light" !!
The fuel has returned to the top but the light is still on
Anyone any ideas. ?????
As i am panicking and my svs department is shut till monday morning !?!?!??

Shot in the dark but I have come across this on bm's on pdi when really low on fuel or virtually empty tank, you can get a suden drop off in fuel pressure, which, may store a fault in the engine ecu. Call out Mondial if in doubt. Will probably only req fault memory clearing or a battery reset.
cheers Deano.

Deano - the tank was at quarter when i filled it, i personally think (though i cant remember) that i started the engine to quickly & didnt allow the memory to complete all self tests. I have cleared the memory now, but i will defo be keeping an eye on this & updating the forum ov my progress, i was just a little worried as its not even done 500 miles yet !
Cheers for your input
