Question Baby Seats that match the classic interior

Hi All,

Does anybody know of any baby seats available that match the classic shape interior.
I've just been on the subaru site and the offical one looks pants.

I was hoping for a more recaro looking seat.

Thanks

Kevin

assuming you value your kids above the image of your back seat i suggest you check reviews on the recaro BEFORE you buy it.

Also consider your poor little baby in a Scoob. We know what is about to happen with the loud pedal and brakes. Their little neck will pop around a bit. Needs to have good lateral support aswell in a car like this.

I'd steer clear of the Recaro until the little ones about 2 yrs old.

I did a lot of research & bought 2 of the BebeComfort Iseos seats, which are great

& almost any colour you could want

I now have a couple of the Recaro seats as my daughter is now nearly 3. My only criticism is that she's not keen on the (slide on) side protection head support so she tends to sit with her head slightly foward (until told otherwise !)

As far as I'm aware it's only because of airbags on the passenger side, but someone may know better.

on that note, I got both my Recaros from Halfords. They often do specials on them (altho only seems to be the black with blue trim ones) & I got mine for £120 each

I thought it was still ok to put a front facing seat in the passenger seat but not a rear facing as this can lead to broken neck for the child if the airbag goes off.

The Missus new Beetle lets you turn off the passenger airbag so you can put a rear facing baby seat there. Nice feature. (Also you need to use the ignition key to turn it off, and a warning light stays on so it can't be done by accident)
