Unhappy Paint on my WR Blue MY03 STI

Washed my pride and joy yesterday. After each wash i`m noticing more and more small stone chips on the drivers side rear door. They`re not that big but when I gave it a polish all the white residue sits in these chips.

Thing is I`ve had mudflaps on since new and none of the other doors are like this, not even my bonnet `cause I dont **** end(i`ve covered 9000miles.) Although the lower bumper has a few but this is expected. Anyone else notice this/what have you done???

15000 miles on mine with flaps and no chips but I'm rarely on loose chippings etc. It's only the odd tar spot that I've noticed as the flaps seem to do a good job epecially on the front.

it`s only the drivers side rear door, and I wondered if this was from cars travelling in the opposite direction flicking up stones, because there ain`t any any where else.
