Intercooler fins completely sealed
2003 Legacy GT wagon - The importer of my car has just received it from a mechanical inspection - I looked at the IC and "someone" has completely pushed over and closed off all the damn fins on the IC!
NOW the importer is saying this does NOTHING to the performance of the car and the IC will work as normal - I am going crazy here!!! It seems a basic principle of operation that the IC would operate the same as a water radiator and that air passing through it helps cool it - and blocked, it cooks!
Annnnyway, if someone has a TECH SHEET on how an intercooler works I would be most grateful - I will print it out and give it to him (maybe with some water-based-jelly as a lubricant)
thanks in advance

Hi Steve,
Dan's right no airflow means lo cooling, hes just trying to get out of coughing up, dont know of a document explaining the operation as its pretty simple, try a Google search.
Cheers
Andy
