Just looking back through some older threads, came across Mike Wood from Prodrive telling us not to call MY03's STi8's as the MY03 should be the STi9, the new STi WR1 is a STi10, my WRX STi Type UK, purchased new earlier this month, is a MY03, if I had waited a little longer I could have had an MY04, which apparently has a square boot lock and not much else.....me, i'm just confused, but happy with my purchase no matter what it's called....to me i'ts just going to be known as Scooby.........

Hi Midlander123, I'm just like you, I own an STi8 MY03 and I got a bolocking on here for calling it an STi8 but to be honest I couldn't give a flying **** what people tell me to call it cos like you I'm over the moon with it and as you say it's a scooby. You will also here the moans and groans that will make you wish you had bought a Trabant instead but just ignore them and enjoy the scoob as I'm sure you will.
