The day before yesterday just before 6 pm, on RN 53 to Thionville (Northern France), 30 year-old Fabien lost control of his WRX when approaching a junction after passing a number of cars on a dual carriageway. The detectives suppose that he was surprised by a car approaching the junction at the same time as him and reacted wrongly.

His car hit the bus stop (where fortunately no people were waiting at that time). Fabien was rapidly cut out of the remainders of his car and was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He died yesterday.

My condoleances to his family.

Let's not forget the hundreds of other motorists that were killed yesterday.

Subarus aren't the only cars that are dangerous in this kind of weather.

Everyone needs to be careful out there.

Take care people.

Many thoughts to his family and to all families that suffer such tragic loss on todays roads. Please guys a few extra MPH isnt worth the Heartache that your loss would cause your family. Just take care out there and remember speed doesnt kill. Bad decisions kill.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Let's hope it makes us a bit more careful, especially with the current bad road conditions...

Cheers

Possibly not Gary... but it hopefully brings the message home to others so hopefully it may save another life.

Sure that was what Claudius intended.

agree with SiPie, shock tactics are sometimes the only way to slow people down and make them realise your not invincible.
