Off on the yearly pilgramige to the snowy slopes soon and need to know were to leave the scoob. Normally Id leave it in the garage securley locked at home and get a taxi to manchester. But this year the nugget thats booked the hols has got us going via Gatwick, any one know which of the secure car parks is good enough or trust worthy enough to look after my precious ?

Ta

Carl.

Cd be careful of companies that offer cheaper off airport parking, When I worked around gatwick I'd often see them road testing the tastier cars on the airport slip roads.

Probably best to pick one of the major long stay car parks and find a nice safe area- say up against the fence in a corner minimising the chance of any problems. Also disklock or similar and make sure you take the car park ticket with you when you leave rather than leaving it in the car. Don't want to make it easy for them.

Anything else I can help with don't hesitate to ask, I'm always ready to help a fellow Prestonian.

Suggest you leave your (empty!) glovebox and central cubby open, to make it obvious that there's nothing worth nicking inside.

Get a Disklok, park against a wall so no-one dings your doors. Make sure you have two sets of locking bolts on your alloys.

And enjoy the break!

I was happy to leave mine at the NCP lot.
Booked on line and the entrance cameras recognise your reg and give you your ticket.
Might be worth asking NCP if the cameras work at the exit and stop anyone passing if the reg no. doesn't match the payment ticket ?
