Sticker Number plate
#1
Can anyone shed some light?. Is it still legal to put a sticky numberplate on the front lip of the bonnet or on the bottom of the spolier lip?
If it is ok does anyone know who can make up these plates in the Wiltshire area
Cheers

They are NOT legal. Just because "somebody's mates uncles sisters dogs goldfish" hasn't been pulled yet probably just means your local plod have better things to do with their time (unusual in todays climate ). They are illegal due to the background not being reflective, and the tendency to mount them in positions where automated plate recognition systems (SPECS, talivans etc) cant' spot them. The link I put up is to the DVLA, who should know.

They arent legal but i will make you one up in any spec you want. If you have them in the legal font and size its more than likely you wont even get touched.
