Ordered a Black Mica 04 WRX today, added PPP but they said it takes 6 weeks to arrive and you can only fit it at/after the 1K service, is this true?

I thought I was getting rid of my bugeye and that was it for scoobs but maybe not!!

If others have order an 04 can you tell me your prices and options, UK and Jap cars??

Cheers.

Wasn't aware of any changes in price for March 04?

The car supplied will be the current MY04 model (specced and on production lines since last Autumn) which have been filtering through to UK dealers since Christmas - but you're waiting for March to get the 04 plate.
The cars are available now if you don't need the kudos of a new 1/2 year plate. Perhaps get a private plate and forget about the new number plate hype?

I am getting PPP on mine and have been told that because the dealer has to tell Prodrive the chassis number when he knows it (a couple of weeks before you get the car), the time lag between you picking up the car and PPP parts arriving at the dealer is about four weeks.
The 1000 mile service is just a convenient time to install PPP, unless you do mega low miles.
PPP can be fitted at time of supply to you if you can wait the six weeks delivery time, which sounds like you can.

PLEASE NOTE- This story of PPP is from my dealer rather than me,

Nick

My dealer quoted me £20,295 for my new WRX but I found out they were still advertiding the WRX new for wholesale price OTR costs (about £295) so I think I'm looking at about 19K for a new O4!!

They do have an 03 WRX Demo in blue with 300 miles but they want £18,995 for it!!

Oh and just to add..

I really don't care much about the 04 reg plate, but I know it's gonna matter when it comes to resell so why not hang on and grab a new one?
