When changing to Lockwood Dials, and having the speedo console out I decided it was time to address the most annoying thing on the car, That Bloody chime when you leave the key in the ignition and the door open.
A friend hold told that a few squirts of Exhaust Gum Gum in to the hole of the speaker case on the back of the binacle soon sorts it out (its the white/cream plastic thing with the hole in the top on the same bit of PCB as the blue connector on the back of the binacle).

Much happier now

just make sure u dont walk off with your door open and the keys in the ignition now that theres nothing to warn u

yeah did think of that but then its the same even if does beep and you shut the door the car locks itself anyway.

Also its only when Im fiddleing on the car or cleaning it I want the radio on without the chime.
