I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way?? its like i think this is it, the ultimate one, i went from fiat punto (6 years) to golf v5, to wrx my01 to jdm sti 9 in 3 months!! ok i didnt lose any money so im not to unhappy, but im forever looking at what is for sale.

I am more than happy with my car, but i just want the next subaru up, and up and up, not to much about modding the car, but more about just buying a better newer one. Now have a my03 thinking about wr1 or type 25, where does it end?? sure there must be other working class people like me (with no money) lol i dont know where it comes from, who feel the same, perhaps we should start a self help group, buying subarus anonymous lol

Definitely, even though I am totally happy with the Scooby I bought 6 months ago, still keep checking auto trader to see whats available just in case I see something I fancy.

Cheers

Jason,

It's definitely addictive, and can probably be classed as a disease! In the last 3 years I've gone from an STI 5 TypeR to a 330d Sport, to a new MINI Cooper and an R33 GTR V-Spec, to another 330d Sport, to an M5, and I now have another 330d Sport! LOL I've also had an Aprilia RSV-R, Suzuki Hayabusa and Honda SP-1 in this time.

If it is a disease, I've caught it!

Recently seperated from wife - buying the scooby was the best thing I did.

Only had MY00 standard for 7 months, already looking to go up to posibly PPP or STI MY03!

Quite infectious really

Yep, thoroughly diseased here too ! Autotrader gets hit very often

The missus goes off on one occasionally, but I explain it this way.
I can't help changing my car, I love cars ! Wouldn't you rather it was cars than wimmin ?

She soon calms down

Yes, I've had too many to count over the past decade of driving from a 2CV to an E30 M3 with a quite a few imbetween. It's easy to get bored and start idly looking at Autotrader, worse still was my auction banger addiction of a few yrs ago, at one point I had 4 cars and still went looking.

Bit drastic would it not be easier to just burn your wage pack a the end of each week same result but without the ear bashing.

Any more disease's or marital probs call Dr. Ruth(AKA 'Tandy')

IT IS A DISEASE CAUSED BY NO WIFE OR KIDS. in the last 18 months I have had 2 TTs, 330sport cab, S3, Cooper S, A4 cab, Jacked HiLux Porsche 996 C2 and mow my sti9. Which one suprised me most ? the sti9 I have always been bit of a snob when it came to what i (USED) to call jap crap (sorry) many friends told me to buy one to which none of them I listened. Then one day I watched a DVD at a friends saw them go did a bit of research had no test drive and dropped a deposit on one (i need help). I have never had so much fun in a car nor been so suprised I think I may be cured apart from prehaps a couple of slight mods. I really do love this scooby and think it may even last until the next service LOL
