Can anyone confirm, bought a knock link+sensor, have been given the sensor 0261231148 but have seen a thread saying the proper sensor is 0261231006, asked the guy i bought it from and he assusres me that this is the same sensor, i know the sensors look slightly different but not sure if they work the same, any body had this problem or using the sensor ive been given??

The one I have supplied to many people is :

Bosch Motronic Knock Sensor 0 261 231 006
Connector for Knock Sensor 1 287 013 003

Which can be used with the Knock Link Display.

Forget now who told me it was this one, but is was one of the knowledgble types from SN/22B forums.

Don't know about the other one, but I can find out on Tuesday for you when I'm back at work ?

Yea m8 thats what info i have to, if you could find out that would be perfect, will try bosch direct tomorrow and see if they can tell me.

plug 1 928 403 137
pins 1 987 280 103 (0.5 - 1.0 mm cable)
pins 1 987 280 105 (1.5 - 2.5mm cable)
Seal 1 987 280 106

0 261 231 006 Motronic Knock Sensor (standard Jetronic 2 pin plug)


Basically they are technically the same except for the connector, similar dimensions and the same performance.

Cheers for that m8, phoned bosch yesterday and they basicly said the same, different to look at ie different plug but would give out almost the exact same signals
