I have tracker monitor but only for insurance purposes. If it wasn't financially good for me to have it I don't think I'd bother. If car gets stolen and abused I'm not sure I'd want to get it back. Not when I might need to replace it with a Type 25

Along with the tracker, I would also fit clifford blackjack (can be fitted stand alone), this way if your car gets nicked/driven away with or without the keys, it will cut out shortly after the first time they press the brakes. If you get high jacked, again first time brakes are pressed, it will cut.

I have my 98 STI 5 booked in for a RAC trackstar next week, although about 100 pounds more than the tracker, if you change your car, you can take the trackstar with you. With the tracker, it is stuck with the car, and youve lost 450 quid.
