Just wanted to say hi to everyone as I'm new to Scoobynet. Got my first Scoob today - it's a my02 STi type UK Prodrive style in WR blue with anthracite wheels. Is this an STi7 ?
What can I say but

It's just so much fun - I can't believe I actually laughed out loud the first time I drove it. As for the twisty bits - it's amazing - but I think I will have to get a lot braver to get anywhere near what it can really do. Gently does it at the moment though.

Looking forward to many smiles per gallon.

Ps don't know if it's anyone here, but I got passed by another scoob exactly the same (gold wheels though I think) when I was bringing mine home this afternoon - M1 about junction 29 northbound.

This week I will be mostly spending my money on Optimax!!!

Nice choice mate, may I enquire to how much you paid for it, or is that a bit cheeky!?

Thanks for the replies and warm welcome everyone.

Bluenose - I don't really want to say how much as I got it from a family member - but the price seemed about right.

paul w - the fuel consumption is the only real downside but thankfuklly I don't do that many miles. When I test drove it though I had to visit the garage twice in one day to keep up with the thirst

Interestingly - it's always been run on Esso SUL as this was found to be more 'consistant' than optimax ? I'm not sure myself so I will be trying both.

I wasn't sure about the anthracite wheels wheels at first - I quite like the gold ones, but my other half thinks these are more subtle! But as I said - what about the subtle boot spoiler ?

Pictures - will gladly put some on when I have read up on how you do this - and I have cleaned it - again

If this has worked, 1) I'll be amazed and 2) there should be a picture of my scoob here.
