Yeah, pretty cool how "Homer Lawtey" and "GTOUK" the ignition for the whole internet forum search didn't get a mention. Luckily I'm really not bothered about fame, so can look at all the articles with a level head and see all the errors, bullsh1t and exageration going on!!!!
The good thing is that websites belonging to and made by car enthusiasts have been recognised by most as a huge contributing factor in the retrieval of Shane's Eclipse.
The bad thing is that a lot of websites are getting the credit for doing nothing more than reporting the story after it was all resolved (not bitter at PistonHeads getting a mention
, really).
Ah well, doesn't matter what any papers say, the Eclipse is gonna be in my garage tomorrow, being worked on by me, with my tools, before I take the wheels of and fit them to my car, strip the engine and recondition it myself, and then wire up the ICE myself.
Sorry guys, couldn't resist propping up my EGO, as the national press won't do it on my behalf!!!!!!!!!!
