Hi All
Could everyone please take a quick look at this thread...
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=289145
Both sides of the argument make sense. Keep it in general as it's of general interest = 1 side. Move it to the correct forum, otherwise there is an argument for all threads to be left in general.
Could you please post here your vote (keep it simple if possible)..
- Leave in General
- Move to Correct Forum
- Reall Don't Care
And we'll do as you ask.
Cheers
Simon

Thanks Simon,
I fully understand the argument that every national thread could be linked in General.
I do believe however that The Ball is a one off. It takes months of organisation by an individual for the benefit of the community.
The organiser does this for no profit and with financial risk to himself.
For this reason I believe a Scooby Ball 3 link should be left in General.
Cheers
Lee

Not only leave it in General, but make it a sticky.
It's good, and rare, to have people putting in so much effort into organising something that can only benefit the 'community spirit' so often mentioned.

Don't have strong feelings about it, but such a thread should not get moved out of general IMHO. "Community" is an much overused word, but this is a social gathering of people on Scoobynet.

Maybe you could set up a geek forum?
"Have no life, want to meet new friends, then try the geek forum"

So going out for a meal, a drink and to put some names to faces is now being a Geek?
You could always stop in on your PC and get you post count to 6000 posts.

- Really Don't Care
Mods move threads as seems to fit with their mood on that day with no consistency so who cares. I just follow the link.
Don't take this the wrong way Lee and Phil coz I think Phil is doing a good thing but why does this thread deserve a vote and others don't. Is this going to lead to others wanting a vote on their thread.
Dave.

Best all round if it's left in General and held on Page 1.
This wil give it maximum publicity.
Thought that communicating with and getting to know other Scooby owners was what this site was all about!!
