LOL...
Part of me says leave it in general as a sticky, locked, with a ling to the "National" thread.
But then the other part of me says that every year Phil posts in general, and gets asked to move it to national.
At the end of the day, only a very small minority of the scoobynet community go to the ball. And that is the harsh fact.
As many may well go to meets/trackdays/etc.
So in conclusion, while Phil is to be applauded for his efforts, it is not an event that the majority of the community attend (NEC anyone?) and should not therefore be in general.

Sticky in General. This is for the benefit of the whole community, whether they decide to go or not is their choice entirely.
We ought to support Phil in the same way that he shows support to the community, by taking considerable time and effort to arrange the event, and also bear in mind the financial risk that he enters in to personally.

Whack it in General, then after the deadline for getting yer name down passes, move it to wherever. That way, people who are not involved don't see it in general and everyone who is involved in this fantastic, well organised event, knows where it has gone and can continue to use the thread.
There are 30 threads on the general forum front page at any one time, if you wanted to be picky, every single one of them could/should be in a different forum.
Leave it where it is for now. I used to organise local meets in the general forum and no one batted an eyelid
