fuel cut?
#2
All turbo Scoobs have a number of inbuilt safety features to help protect the engine such as fuel cut or knock correction.
Each 'feature' should prevent the engine from blowing itself up in the unlikely event of something going wrong such as a pipe coming off. With fuel cut the car momentarily stops fuel when a sensor detects that boost pressure has gone over a preset level - for most cars this is around 1 bar.
Clear as mud?
