STi PPP thing
#1
OK i am wearing my flame suit.
I drove a 2003 sti with the ppp kit, and i like a fight!
Ok i wont buy one, why?
well its a very odd experience....firstly six gears, what a waste of time you have around 2000 rpm of power then you jump to the next gear. Derrr seems very silly as you spend more time think about changing gear than driving.
Man in blue coat - everytime i had to reverse i kept thinking theres a man with a blue coat crossing the road behind me.
Im talking about the spoiler!! Bloody ironing board
G T 3 - ok i have to admit i was in the rain and all the power was going down to the tarmac, and the horizon came up quick...very quick
But it did seem that you were in a computer game!! very distant from the driving experience.
And around country lanes ermmm very hard work to put the pace on..........give me an M3 anyday, and on that note whoever says a scooby will leave an M3 is mad....over 60 mph forget it.
I owned an RS focus for a few months and did around 7k miles and several track days in it. Now I would say overall the focus was a better car.
why well turn-in, handling, control, styling, delivery of power....theres a few ok it doesnt have the power and the 4 wheeled drive...but say if it did. ummmmmm
Im sure some of you guys have driven the RS......and at one point i did look to buy a scooby over the RS....but now after the drive i have to say i made the right choice buying an RS. Didnt loose any money either when i sold the RS.
oh and the turn-in on the scobby is shockingly bad, what happened there?
oh did i mention the brakes??
why am i writing this?? well i thought the computer geeks could do with a different point of view other than a "how ginger are your wheels? whats the diameter of your exhaust? how sweeeeet(said with a lisp) is your stereo? do you own a burberry cap or white addidas trainers?
bring it on.

All this M3 vs STi stuff!
Has anybody actually raced a new M3 in anger. There seems to be this impression that an M3 will kick an STi8 ****. This is not true at all.
I've raced an M3 and there's very little in it. Certainly not enough to disguish which is the faster car. The M3 has an edge between 70 and 120 and then the scooby claws it back between 120 and 150.
A collegue of mine has an M3 and he's already admitted that the STi8 is far more sharp in the twisties.

OK i am wearing my gay suit.
I drove an audi TT with the armrest kit, and i like a slap around my face!
Ok i won't buy one, why?
well its a hair blowing in yer face experience....firstly the roof, what a waste of time you have to wait around for 2 minutes before it comes down. Derrr seems very silly as you spend more time thinking about bringing the roof down or up than driving.
Gay boy in a pink coat – every time i had to reverse it kept messing up my hair. a man with a pink coat crossing the road behind me.
Im talking about my boyfriend!! Bloody lovely he is
G T 3 - ok i have to admit i was in the sun and all the power was used to bring the roof down, and the wind came up quick...very quick. But it did seem that you were in a hair salon!! very distant from the driving experience.
And around country lanes ermmm very hard work to keep my hair in place..........give me an cut and blow dry anyday, and on that note whoever says a Braun combi styler will leave Vidal Sassoon is mad....with wind messing up your hair forget it.
I owned a Vidal Sasson driver for a few months and styled all my hair with it. Now I would say overall the Braun was a better hair dryer.
why well turn-in, handling, control, styling, delivery of wind in yer face....theres a few ok it doesnt have the power and the 4 speed hot and cold control settings...but say if it did. ummmmmm
Im sure some of you guys have dried your hair before......and at one point i did look in the mirror....but now after i've dried my hair i have to say i made the right choice buying an the vidal sassoon. Didnt loose any money either when i sold the Vidal Sasson.
oh and the turn-in on the TT is shockingly bad, what happened there?
oh did i mention the Shampoo??
why am i writing this?? well i thought everyone could do with a hair curlers point of view other than a "how ginger is your hair? whats the diameter of your exhaust big boy? how delightful (said the teapot) is your arm rest? do you own an Armani tie or Ferragamo shoes??
bring it on lovies.

I had a bit of a play with a M3 and definitely held my own against it.
I have got an STi8, think he was more shocked that he was getting raced by a lady and couldn't seem to get past her

Oh dear... Muppet!
At least most computer geeks have some degree of intelligence.
This has to be a wind up “is it April 1st”
As for the turn in… what on earth are you talking about! I’ve had a 330i driven several M3’s and theirs no way you’re correct. The STi turns in bang on; I think you’ve been reading too many reports of under-steer on the STI as opposed to the EVO. Well believe me the STI probably understreers less than the M3 and you really have to be pushing really deep into a corner to get under-steer.
On the road the M3 is .5 of a second quicker to 100 now I’d not exactly call this “after 60 forget it!” I’ve shadowed an M3 on the M? @ 3am up-to 150 and it wasn’t going anywhere it certainly wasn’t leaving me for dead. + The Scoob isn’t a big speed kind of car, get both down your average bumpy B road and the Scoob comes into its own. Don’t forget in the RS it would have probably dragged you into the nearest sheep all by itself by the time the Scoob disappeared around the corner!
Or and didn’t the M3 go a second slower around the TG test track than the STI, with the Stig at full tilt! Oops did you forget that! And the RS; well it wasn’t anywhere near!

what a muppet. I hate people that have to go out of their way to say something negative, or to try and create unrest.
Sti PPP thing? get a life as you blatantly dont have one if you find a scooby site just to come on and say that.
What a spanker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

darren...oh sorry dazza.
when commenting on an RS at least dont rely on other people comments, it is a good car.
M3 fair enough around a circuit that maybe the case but my old z3 m roadster feels a dam sight quicker than the ppp. As confirmed by the passenger and owner of the ppp.
And yes i wouldnt compare the handling of a Z m roadster as they are ****e at handling.
