I was tootling around 2day and a brand new M3 zoomed past me (sound great don't they!).... so i naturally decided to do some pacing. I only have a standard turbo WRX03 and I was astonished to find I was keeping up with it at a close distance. I'd love to have seen that drivers face ;-)

I bet you STi owners would really whoop is *** though!

Cheers
FF

You did well mate, but im not sure if he would have been gunning it. Those things are stupidly quick.

second thoughts about this. maybe he was taking it easy. I had a dual with one when I had my VFR800 motorbike and he gave me a good run 4 my money.

people seem to read stats, and think "his" is 14.7 secs to 100, and "mine" is 13.7, I'd kill him.
In real life theres absolutley nothing in it, perhaps a car length if that. IMHO

A second or so 0-100 time is easily lost or gained in the gear change for non-race trained drivers. Not that I'm trained, but I have done some rallying before.

1 second at 100mph is about 45m.
