Dealer or private sale?
#2
matt, go private mate, well worth it, find one with a subaru warranty, they are about, I just sold a my98 with an extended subaru warranty, and it was in better nick than anything I've seen of the same year anywhere else!
It would be a good idea to post on here to ask someone impartial to go with and check everything is ok, the most important thing with subaru's is service history, most of these cars are owned by enthusiasts, so you can expect only the best from your purchase, if everything is not completely right then walk away, cause there are loads about and deffo a buyers market

I bought mine from a dealer, and given the grief I'm getting trying to get a few niggles sorted, pointed out and agreed they'd fix, before I bought it, I'd go private next time. No service history or handbook on collection either.
Martin.
