Out of interest does anyone have any problems with their wipers on an sti 8. Mine seem to be really crap, they smudge and I can't see well when it rains. I don't think there is enough pressure onto the windscreen on them. anyone know of any solutions?

OK, get dealer fit new wiper blades. It's possible the car could have been standing in Japan in baking hot sun whilst it was waiting to be shipped (UV light makes the rubber go hard).

When I was over in Malyasia, it was common practice for people to lift the wiper blades up off the windsreen whilst parked. Dunno if it worked, but they must have done it for a reason!
