I'm looking to buy my mum a driving experiance day and seeing as she loves thrashing my Impreza I thought that this may be a good one to do.
Could anyone please tell em what the cost is and how they rated the experiance??
Cheers
Andy

Tell me about it...........
She drives my car really slowly until I get bored and say "go on. stick yer toe down"
Next thing I know were overtaking cars past the local police station. What a nutter

Did Prodrive Live in September.
Consisted of:
Landy on off-road course
Seat Leon around a tarmac track, plus some brake testing
BMW 330 on the skid pan
and
STi around their own tarmac rally stage
No idea of the cost because a supplier paid for it (and for 15 fellow members of staff )
Hugh
My score in the Scooby was suspiciously high, but obviously couldn't reveal that I had something similar until after I'd done the driving

IIRC,
What Huge is discribing is an all day Prodrive Live Corperate event The Prodrivelive experience @ around £250-300 is a morning or Afternoon doing the Landy off road and Subaru Tarmac stage
Tony
Edited to Say 'Mums rock'

I've been on the Prodrivelive gift half-day and got:
- skid surface, simulating 3 inches of snow, in the BMW 330
- off-road in the Land Rover
- Prodrivelive Imprezas around the 'tarmac rally stage', including being driven by the instructor
It was raining when I did which made the off-road and the instructor passenger ride much more interesting.
On my half-day, there were 18 people that were split down into groups of 3.
It should be possible to go with your mum as Prodrive now allow one companion to go along, though this will cost an extra £15 (which I believe is paid on the day). You may get a passenger ride in the Impreza if there is time.
Really enjoyed the event, especially the passenger ride with the instructor, though I do not have anything to compare it too.
Oh yes, if you do get it for your mum get her down the gym to build up leg muscles, there is no brake servo on the Imprezas .
