R/C Scoob
#1
I want to buy a remote control scoob for my son for christmas. I might just have a go myself
There seems to be a number for sale at around £70 - £80. Scale varies but usually about 1/10th. Most seem to be 27mhz (whatever that means).
Does anyone have any advice/recommendations. Worksop/Sheffield based, so must be generally available model.

Depends how much you want to spend. They will be "ok" but if you want something half decent I would pay a bit more and go for a Tamiya. You then have the added fun of building it and it's totally upgradable (like the real thing ) Try looking here model sport
27 mhz refers to the frequency it runs on so if his friends have them makes sure his is different to theirs
