If you popped down to your local aftermarket tuners , and saw a plain jane part , and then saw a Gucci part ( named part , you know like Apexi , or G'Reddy , or HKS ..) and there was a difference in price , of say 15% would you go for the Gucci part or the regular part ?

I'd go for the cheapy. Never attached much value to names. If I think the cheaper one is just as good I'll get that. Just done the data for next febs Fast Car and HKS or someone has a turbo in for about £3000. How come some car companies can build a whole car for £4500 and yet one component can be valued at 66% of that. 'Cos they're ripoff merchants preying on the wealthy disillusioned overpaid designer generation who think a t-shirt is worth £90 if someone prints certain letters on it.

This attitude has never let me down in the past and helps my wage go twice as far as my peers. They don't know how I afford so much stuff LOL.
