For my 30k MY02 WRX service? I've heard it can be pricey, is this right? It's due in a month or two and I don't want to get a shock when they hand me over a bill that I will have to get a small bank loan for.... Anyone know what they do in the service??
Cheers

It's the cambelt change service I think, same as the 90k one I had the other month.
I'd reckon on about 450 notes
If I remember rightly, they also change:
plugs
airfilter
oil
& other stuff that I can't remember

OUCH!
i have the three year one coming up next though milage is still 17k
cant see why they would do cambelt at 30k though...
that seems very low...!
i would have thought they did it at 5 years... 75k for me on the 7.5k intervals (EU import!)

Think cambelts are done at 60k for newer cars (was 45k for my MY99)
The 30k includes plugs I think, so will be a bit more than a normal service but not that much more, unless costs have rocketed in the last 2 years.
