well just paid £500 deposit on a brand new wrx impreza from bell and colvill. cant wait but what a performance choosing a sports car for £20000........
car 1 RX8. had to book a test drive and Mazda, because of the high interest in car, didnt seem to come across as they needed your business. and the base model goes only slightly faster than my present Puma.
car 2 Focus RS. dealers dont have any new ones and any they do sell more than list price.
car 3 2nd hand Audi TT. everyone has one !!!!!!
car 4. Subaru WRX. went to bell and colvill and within 10mins was driving a Prodrive 5 door, no sales assistant!! on my own. came back still not decided given keys to 4door WRX...made my mind up. mainly due to the way i was treated, well done bell and colvill!!

Welcome
A wise choice, you'll never look back believe me.
They are fantastic cars, reliable, powerfull, you can fit the kids in the back and above all they sound gorgeous.

side note to the RX8.......if you buy the car they offer a free "highperformance" driving course...i suspect 2 things from this
1. there is something wrong with it at speed (rear wheel drive after all).
2. by adding this people will think they are faster than they are??

Nah sounds good to me - wish Scooby did driving course to highlight the difference in changing from FWD/RWD/2WD to AWD, I'd have been keen!

There's nothing wrong with the RX8 handling - even at speed They are quite quick too...

The majority of people who buy a RX8 will have previously had FWD cars - it's quite a difference going to RWD - hence a course so you don't end up in the hedge first time out.

What deal did you get... I think subaru dealers are approaching end of quarter targets... you should be able to nail them down to the absolute minimum on a brand new one
